Fears of a chocolate shortage have swept Germany, after a bizarre confluence of stereotypes on the Autobahn.
On Thursday evening, a truck hauling 13 tons of chocolate bars caught fire on the famed German roadway.
The driver of the truck managed to separate the trailer and its flaming chocolate from the tractor portion of the truck near Ludwigsfelde, south of Berlin.
The truck’s cargo formed a veritable river of chocolate along the Autobahn, reminiscent of the scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory wherein the gluttonous German character (Augustus Gloop) is sucked into Willy Wonka’s river.
Workers spent the better part of Thursday night extinguishing the fire and cleaning up the delicious mess.

"...bizarre confluence of stereotypes on the Autobahn."
That's classic.
Good chocolate is the opposite of FoodCrack.
